Ross is an intellectual property attorney who works with clients in a
variety of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. Ross
is technically trained in chemical engineering, receiving a BS degree
from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Ross is a member of the
Massachusetts bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Ross received a Juris Doctor/Masterof Laws dual
degree in Intellectual Property cum laude from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. Ross has served clients in matters involving
semiconductor processing, genetically-modified algae for biodiesel
production, infant nutritional products, ovens and furnaces,
pharmaceutical compositions and medical treatment methods, graphite thermal interface for electronics applications, microfluidic devices, sporting equipment and mechanical devices, web-based and computer-implemented methods, and trademark prosecution. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ross worked in various technical areas including wide bandgap semiconductor devices, wafer-bonded devices with silicon carbide, fiber optic chemical sensors, spacecraft water purification, recovery of valuable chemical species, fuel cells, ceramic membrane reactors for production of synthesis gas, and reverse osmosis water desalination. Ross also built a career as a jazz recording artist, touring musician, studio session musician, and educator for many years in Colorado and Tennessee.
